Discussing the options before committing
The client requested an on-site inspection to discuss the floor and available options. They initially wanted polished concrete, but Filip did not recommend polishing the original slab given its poor condition and the water-ingress issues the client had reported.
Over approximately two months, Filip continued to assist with information as the client considered the options and budget. The client subsequently arranged for a new concrete slab to be installed and selected an epoxy flake finish for the community hall.
Addressing the slab before coating
The newly installed slab required localised remedial attention before the flooring work could proceed. Uneven areas and exposed reinforcing steel were identified, and Resin Me Epoxy assisted with the agreed slab repairs and defective surface areas before the epoxy installation.
