Mechanically Polished Concrete for Commercial Floors

Resin Me Epoxy delivers mechanically polished concrete for commercial and industrial spaces across Sydney. The system can suit retail, showrooms, offices, warehouses and other sites that need a durable exposed-concrete finish without a topical coating.

The process is planned around the slab and specification and may include progressive diamond grinding, grout or pinhole treatment, densification and polishing through the selected grit sequence. Aggregate exposure depends on how the slab was placed and finished, previous grinding and the depth required to remove damage or coatings.

Gloss and clarity are agreed before work starts, with a sample or representative test area used where practical. Existing slabs naturally vary, so aggregate distribution, colour and repaired areas may not look perfectly uniform. Edges and restricted areas can also differ from the main machine-polished floor.

Commercial grinders and H-Class dust extraction are used where access and power allow. Curing time, moisture, contamination, floor flatness and nearby trades can affect the programme. Polished concrete is durable, but it is not stain-proof or automatically slip-proof and requires an appropriate cleaning and maintenance plan.
