Can you remove an existing rooftop waterproofing membrane?

Many membranes and coatings can be mechanically removed, but the correct method depends on the membrane type, thickness, bond strength and condition of the concrete underneath. We inspect the site and may complete a test area before confirming the removal scope.

Why is rooftop grinding priced after an inspection?

Rooftop pricing is affected by building access, equipment lifting, membrane thickness, concrete condition, rooftop plant, penetrations, edge work, waste handling and permitted working hours. An inspection allows us to provide a realistic written quotation.

Does grinding make the rooftop waterproof?
